Why has "Car Buying" been rebranded as "The Garage?"

Even older articles are sending me to The Garage. When it started out, I thought it would be a source of DIY articles that we saw at first, but now it’s just Tavarish’s “why flerp when you can derp” articles all over again. What was the point of the rebranding? Men between 18 and 49 like the word “garage” more than “buying?” And whatever happened to that Detroit sub?

slightly OT, but t doesn’t deserve it’s own post.

Why is Tavarish convinced that cars stop depreciating after 10 years? 981’s are gong to keep getting cheaper for the next 10-15 years no reason to buy one today for 30k. spend 5k on a miata now and spend 20k on a 981 in a few years.

Depreciation doesn’t mean anything to him other than cost of entry. It seems he keeps cars for like 6 months max so he never really feels the pain of while he’s the owner.

Because they are still a great deal and most wouldn’t complain about getting a porsche for half price. Plus they still look new and modern and have wide parts availability.

I agree, I thought it would be more wrenching and garage stuff, but so far it’s just been carbuying with a Tracy article about his Jeep every once in a while.
